Zachary Ritter, PA-C: Men’s Health Specialist

"My biggest responsibility as a healthcare professional is to educate my patients. I believe that informed people make better decisions regarding their health and wellness. I am always willing to take the time to explain what is going on and to answer any questions my patients have. I believe that working together and forming a collaborative plan improves patient outcomes and satisfaction."

Zachary Ritter, PA-C, started his medical career as a Paramedic for the Matanuska-Susitna borough from 2010-2016. Afterward, he had the privilege of serving residents across the state of Alaska as a Critical Care Flight Paramedic. Although happy with his employment in emergency services, he wanted to expand his ability to help treat patients and to make more lasting improvements in people’s lives. He attended the University of Washington’s Physician Assistant program, where he excelled as a student. Following graduation, he started his Physician’s Assistant career in Orthopedic Surgery. In 2017, he made the move to Alaska Medical Specialties where he worked specifically at Alaska Urological Institute for 3 years. Upon their closure, Zachary joined the team at Fairbanks Urology before the opening of Men’s Health Alaska.

As a urology specialist focusing on men’s health, Zachary’s focus is on kidney, ureter, bladder, prostate health, hormone imbalance, and sexual health concerns such as erectile dysfunction and fertility testing.

Zachary is a born and bred Alaskan growing up in Palmer. His adventures have taken him across the state and back to Anchorage as a prominent member of the community. He is a father of 4 beautiful girls and a devoted husband. You can find him on the trails of Kincaid year-round running, biking, or skiing.
